Maryland has become the SECOND US state to ban declawing cats after State lawmakers and the Governor have outlawed the practice. It was already illegal in Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Austin, Denver, Beverly Hills and Berkeley, California. New York state banned cat declawing in 2019.
